The official legal address of a company, used for service of regulatory notices and statutory communications. Must be in the jurisdiction of incorporation.
In practice
UAE free zone companies must maintain a registered office within the free zone (flexi-desk or leased premises). Mainland LLCs require an Ejari-registered office (Dubai) or Tawtheeq-registered office (Abu Dhabi). Offshore entities (BVI, Cayman, Panama) use the registered agent's address.
