A UAE residency visa granted to an employee, sponsored by their UAE-licensed employer.
In practice
Issued for 2 years, renewable indefinitely. The employee receives an Emirates ID, may sponsor immediate family, and may open personal banking. Total cost per visa approximately USD 1,100 including government fees. Cancellation of the employment relationship triggers cancellation of the visa.
