Frequently asked

Common questions.

The questions clients ask most before committing. Current to 2026, reviewed by counsel.

How much is an IFZA visa in 2026?

An IFZA residence visa is from AED 3,750 (USD 1,020) per person — entry permit, medical, Emirates ID and stamping — plus a one-time establishment card of AED 2,900 (USD 790) per company. The first investor visa all-in is therefore from about AED 6,650 (USD 1,810).

How many visas can an IFZA company get?

Up to 6 visas on a standard flexi-desk package. Beyond 6, you must upgrade to a private office within IFZA or migrate to a free zone with a larger quota.

Can I sponsor my family on an IFZA visa?

Yes — once your investor visa is issued and the salary/income threshold is met (AED 4,000/month for spouse and children, AED 20,000 for parents), dependents can be sponsored on the company's establishment card.

Do I need to be in the UAE for the IFZA visa?

Yes, briefly — for the medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics, which must be done in person. The licence itself is issued remotely; only the visa stage requires a short visit.

How long does an IFZA visa take?

7–10 working days for the full visa cycle (entry permit, medical, Emirates ID, stamping) once the establishment card is active and you are in the UAE for biometrics.
