DNFBP — Designated Non-Financial Business and Profession
UAE AML/CFT-designated category covering corporate-service providers, real-estate brokers, dealers in precious metals and stones, auditors, lawyers and accountants. Subject to goAML registration and STR/SAR reporting obligations.
A Designated Non-Financial Business and Profession (DNFBP) is a category of entity subject to the UAE AML/CFT framework but not directly supervised by the UAE Central Bank or other financial-services regulators. DNFBPs are required to register on goAML, implement an AML programme, appoint a Money Laundering Reporting Officer, conduct customer due diligence, and report STRs and SARs.
